This year sees the addition of Weapons Divisions for adults and kids. Students will be grouped by level, age and size for push-hands and sparring. Students will be grouped by level for the forms competition. Below is a basic outline of the different divisions and what you would perform for each:
Form:
Beginner Kung Fu: Poison-Hands and Iron Body
Advanced Kung Fu: Tiger-Crane Long Form (as much as you have learned)
Beginner Tai Chi: First Section of the Tai Chi 108
Intermediate Tai Chi: Second Section of the Tai Chi 108
Advanced: Third Section of the Tai Chi 108
Note: The above is what Master Gohring recommends, the main criteria is that you stick to the correct time limit. Tai Chi 3min - 3:30min. Kung Fu - no time limit.
